Gartner named QuePort as a "Cool Vendor" for 2010
"Cool vendors" in content management appeal to IT and business buyers by addressing their needs to help people relate better to information by making the information itself smarter, even as they also explore combinations of cloud computing, open source, and supplements for improved overall content management.
The intelligent content management solution QuePort was selected as the cool vendor in content management in 2010 as one of six providers world-wide. Thus, it was identified in the Gartner report. QuePort's most important factor of innovation is the possibility to automatically generate dynamic portals based on very different contents which are adapted to the interests of the user.
QuePort aggregates information from all relevant internal and external sources. The data are analysed and treated according to the users' interests. Thereby, content-related data are networked. This data-networking makes the research of further background information much easier. Furthermore, a semantic search opportunity makes it possible to browse the contents under consideration of the context. By the help of this intelligent search engine, users do not only find documents which contain the exact search term but also those which are content-related to the search item. In addition, any click the user makes on the website is analysed in real-time and thus influences the selection and display of the contents. Therefore, the information offered is the result of a complex automated interaction of analyses and processes which take place in the background. Thereby, the users' individual interests are considered. By the help of QuePort, individual information views are prepared for every user which means that the user does not navigate on a stare page but he moves on a dynamic topic-website which has been prepared especially for him.
